racial harmony day celebrations was great today. everybody in 3406 wore ethnic costumes, which is like the most enthu class in the entire school! hahaha.. most costumes were supplied by mrs noordin. =)
arrived in school decked in shirt, shorts and slippers. throughout the entire journey, i was having doubts whether it was really racial harmony celebrations because everybody i saw on my way to school was wearing full school uniform la.
anyway, i reached school, met my classmates and got changed into our ethnic costumes. only around like 6 of us managed to make it in time for morning assembly and we went screaming and running towards the parade square when the command was given to sing the national anthem. classic.
i must say arts class are generally more enthu classes because both 3306 and 3406 participated actively in wearing ethnic costumes to school. brings me back to the days in cedar where practically everyone in the entire school would wear the costumes to school and to camwhore. :P
speaking of camwhoring, we took LOTSLOTSLOTS of photos todayyy!! simply because the entire class had the first period free and most of us only had less than 3 lessons today. :)

tomorrow is sajc's dance concert - rapture. it will be another entire day sacrificed at the expense of studying. oh man. i really should buck up and grab every opportunity i have to study la. anyway, this should really be the last time i'm dancing this year. will probably feel nostalgic about it. but the studio at mediacorp is really just so fantastic. erm, actually i just meant the lightings. the whirling sounds made by the spotlights as it swivled and in the backdrop of the stage it looked like the x-men vault. shall take a picture of it tomorrow. besides the stage, i'm excited at the thought of celebrity spotting. heh. and just as we were leaving mediacorp today after rehearsals, we saw agnes and guohao from campus superstar arriving. not making a big deal out of it though. :P

yes, it isn't good to hate. but a nicer way of putting it would be that i seriously dislike him. for what he said to me almost a year ago that left me very demoralised and hence causing mutual dislike. now the class knows that i'm afraid of him and he knows it too. but such negative feelings stemmed from his sarcasm, his insensitive way of speaking and his unconventional way of 'motivation' as a teacher. if he drove her away and wants to see me alone for consultation, i'm very afraid that it'll turn out to be a confrontation instead. and i'd hate for that to happened because i still have the rest of the year which i want to live in peace and invisibility. i have a week to neutralise and dispel those negativities that have accummulated over these period of time before the showdown which i'm dreading. Oh God, heeelllppp...

i need to lose weight.
cos after reverie 3, its as if i ate to compensate for all the meals i had to skip due to the busy dance practices and even though my weighing scale at home ran out of batteries and still nobody went to get new ones, i can feel it in my bones that i gained super lot of weight. please don't say it in my face if the change is visible. :\
yesterday we had a gathering with kathleen, ethelyn and vanessa. kathleen's back from australia for a week. and we had lotsa fun chatting about our sec one days. haha. i can't believe van still remembers the girl who mysteriously wasn't there on the first day of school but her name appeared in all the class data. and we took some really nice photos but its still with kath so gotta wait till she gets back to aussie before she'll probably send it to us.
i've always wondered how it'll be like studying abroad. there's probably going to be major changes from the way things are like in singapore. but i'm not sure if i really would want to study overseas. but if i'm given the chance to go for an exchange programme, i'll jump at it, provided that i do not have to host any students.
guest performing for sajc's Rapture this coming sat, 21 july at mediacorp studios. there's one concert at 2pm and another one at night cos the seating capacity is only around 600? kinda looking forward to it because it's going to be one relaxing concert this time. we're confirmed going to camwhore like siao that day. hahaha...
